Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Payvii is a local-first personal money-management tool. This policy explains what data Payvii handles and how. In plain terms: your financial data stays on your own device, it is never sold, and Payvii connects to your banks only with your permission and only to read.

Who is responsible

Payvii is responsible for this website and the Payvii application. For any privacy question or request, contact hello@payvii.co.

What data Payvii handles

Where your data is stored

On your own device. Payvii keeps your financial data in a local database on the machine where you run it. Payvii does not operate servers that store your financial data, and your data is not uploaded to Payvii. There is no Payvii account to sign up for.

Open banking connections

When you connect a bank, the connection is made through a regulated open-banking provider (an Account Information Service Provider, such as Enable Banking). You authenticate directly with your own bank; Payvii never sees your banking login. The provider processes the connection under its own terms and privacy policy and applicable regulation (PSD2 / UK open banking). You can review and revoke these connections at any time through your bank or the provider.

What Payvii does not do

Your control

Security

Because Payvii is local-first, the security of your data depends largely on the security of your own device — keep it protected. Bank connections are read-only. Encryption of the local database at rest is on the roadmap.

Children

Payvii is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date.
