Terms of Use
Last updated: 16 July 2026
These terms cover your use of Payvii, a local-first personal money-management tool. By using Payvii you agree to them.
What Payvii is — and isn't
Payvii helps you bring your own financial information together and see it clearly. Payvii is not a bank, is not authorised to hold money or make payments, and does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. It shows you your own information and factual comparisons; any decision about your money is yours.
Bank connections
Where you connect an account through open banking, access is read-only — Payvii can read balances and transactions but cannot move money or change your accounts. Those connections are provided by regulated third-party providers and are also governed by your bank's and the provider's own terms.
Your responsibilities
- Keep the device you run Payvii on secure — your data lives there.
- Review the information Payvii shows and verify anything important against your bank; automated imports can contain errors.
- Use Payvii only for your own accounts and lawful purposes.
Provided "as is"
Payvii is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. It is an early-stage project and may contain errors or change over time. Payvii does not guarantee that imported or connected data is complete or accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Payvii and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the tool or the information it displays — including any financial decisions you make. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under law.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the current version will always be posted here with a date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
